Description: This stream starts in the woods and breaks out into a pastoral valley. [Reported 1999]

Difficulties: The remains of a hanging cattle fence were passable in 1999, but it could be rebuilt.

Shuttle: To reach the put‑in, start in Five Points and go west on State Route 4009 for 1.5 miles to T 742. Turn left/south on T 742 and put in at the bridge. To reach the take‑out, return to State Route 4009 and turn left/west on State Route 4009. This becomes State Route 2004. Follow State Route 2004 to State Route 210. Turn left/south on State Route 210 and follow to State Route 422. Turn left/east on State Route 422 and go 0.7 miles to the first road. Turn right/south. Go to the railroad and take out at that bridge on Crooked Creek. One can shorten the trip by a mile, by taking out at the US Route 422 Bridge.

Gauge: None. Check the riffles about 0.2 miles upstream of the US Route 422 Bridge. If these are passable then this section should be okay.

Normal Wet Period: No available statistics on seasons. Since this section is tiny, it should normally be runnable only after a heavy rain or during spring snowmelt.
